Indeed it’s with Kate Bush that the most useful parallels can be drawn, as Heap writes, plays and produces all her own work – in her Pro-Tool driven London studio – and is prone to the same sort of bold experimental mucking about, the same scant regard for what is current or hip, the same attention to detail (the CD packaging is excellent), it’s probably about time she was accorded the same levels of success. |
