Right then...I've begun the 3rd album (the follow-up to 'Speak For Yourself'). I'm going to write a more frequent blog as I did with the last one so you can keep an eye on me and make sure I'm not slacking! I wonder how it's gonna turn out? How exciting! You're very welcome to comment but please don't ask me questions on here or i'll never get any work done. You can email me with any questions you have and every month we'll pick 20 from the virtual 'hat' and post them. Send your questions to: [email protected]

Much much more to come! Love, fluv x i x Wheeeeee!!!

I appreciate you taking time thoughout the process of writing the music for the new ablum to record these blogs. I find your song writing process facinating. How the creativity must flow out of you! Now I am wondering how the ideas sound that you are still playing around with! Waiting patiently for the final product...

Hey Imogen. I’m going to try to make this short, which is something I don’t usually do, but I’m sort of in a rush, so I think it should work out.

I just wanted to encourage you with the new album. “First Train Home” sounds like it could be really good. It seems very different from what you might want to do normally. It sounds very fresh. I’m looking forward to hearing it musically and lyrically.

Nothing too exciting has happened in Chicago. We had the fireworks extravaganza on the July 3rd, yes this would be one day early. I’m turning 30 in 9 days, so that’s something:) I hope your boxing and Japanese lessons are going well. I know you didn’t ask for this, but you in no way look fat from “sitting around and recording”, and I think video is supposed to add weight, so that would mean you’re too skinny:) I hope your day is going well.

Wow, I have just began watching your Vblogs. It is so cool that you do that, I love your music! It is so inspirational. My favorites are I Must Be Dreaming, Shh, Let Go, Headlock. You are one of the biggest influences on my life of music and art.

I can't wait for your next album, and if you ever tour in Utah, I'll be sure to go to your concert. Keep up the good work!

Love all the new material, it seems to echo speak for youself in places which is great because that album has to be one of my most overplayed! Looking forward to the next album, keep up the good work.

I just stumbeled accross this website and decided to watch the first vid to see if there is info on new songs. To my astonishment there was that and much more. And i just wanted to take the time and say thankyou for sharing with the world whats going on with a favorite artist of scores of people. The new music is sounding good and i cant wait to but the album when ever it comes out and again thanks for the tidbits that make us all feel important to your music making.

So far, I am totally impressed. I can't WAIT for your new album. You are incredible and your music is an addictive soothing lullaby - if that analogy is at all possible. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to update your fans and interested parties about your process!!! So so honored.

A bit behind on the vid blogs, so goes the delayed comment.
I do enjoy watching the creative process and thus have flashbacks to my days in studio during undergrad.

Curious in your running, (as you mentioned you do to counter stress,) do you find creative clarity along the run, things you hadn't quite put together coming to as you move?
