Details of the Paris concert are here. It's a small venue, only about 500 seats.

There was already a thread but ...

I'm so happy !!! Finally it will happen !
The venue is very nice ... and small !
And i'm sure it will never be sold out ... which is a bit sad for her ...
I hope we can have the whole band on stage and not just her and the machines !

And the ticket is super cheap !!! 19 euros Shocked
In paris, a concert under 30 is very rare lately ...

Are there really not 500 people in and around Paris who would like to see her? Could her French fans do something to publicise it? E.g. Mika has a huge following in France, and Mika's fans will have heard of Immi from 'By The Time'. There must be some French Mika fan club where info about Immi's Paris concert could be posted.

Added: there is indeed a French Mika fan club here:
http://www.mikafrance.com/
So all you need to do is join it (even if you don't like Mika!) and post a message on their forum!

I swear i'm trying VERY VERY VERY hard to help her to get famous here ! With my website, twitter, and around me, my friends and all ...
But it's hard ...
I've never really met any person who knows her without my intervention ! Well ... i actually remember one guy who knew hide and seek ... but didn't know it was her ...
But as the ticket is super cheap, maybe some parisians will go to discover ... even if it's not really the way people do here ...
But i still have a bit of time left ... i'll work on that a lot !!!
I hope they place posters in the metro or something, that helps a lot !

Are you sure your post went through? I can't see it in the Forums.

On the subject of Mika, incidentally, I noticed that he was playing at the Eden project in Cornwall at the weekend, and Immi's Twitter says she was just coming back from Cornwall. So I wonder if she went down to see him after Glastonbury? You wouldn't come back from Glastonbury to London via Cornwall (look at a map) unless you had some reason to go to Cornwall first.

Thanks! I can see it now.

Sorry someone thought you were a 'floodeur'! Apparently that is French for 'spammer'. I wonder why they didn't make it 'spammeur'?

I think your post was just fine, and I'm glad you were supported by other people at the site.

Has Imogen even ever performed in France? Just wondering.

And, looking at that picture again, Mika looks absolutely fucking SEXY.

I just like wearing my kind of clothes, which attracts some strange looks. Today I’m wearing a bright pink petticoat with loads of layers, a black-and-white patterned skirt over that, my white boots and fluffy legwarmers. My hair is hugely backcombed. I look like a bush. Then I’ve got a Victorian jacket on. People have been looking at me like ‘what is that?'.

No it's gonna be her first time in France ...
I'm so happy ! i'm just really afraid that the venue can be totally empty by the night of the gig and she never comes back after ! Sad
cause nobody knows her here ...
but i'm sending the link to buy tickets to everybody around me ... and i think i'll even offer tickets to my cheap friends ! Laughing

I'm so so happy to see that i was wrong : Paris is SOLD OUT ! More than a month before !
That's so so great !

This makes me so so so happy ! It means that immi finally has an audience here ! It's probably the smallest venue of the whole tour, but still, it's great ! And it's a nice venue !

There are some pretty positive reviews on the internet and the french press ...
And some horrible and even insulting ...

well ... you can't please everybody ... but some reviewers wonder how "such a good artist in studio dares to go on stage and be a total disaster" ...
it's a bit too much !

Ouch!!!

I haven't read any negative press on any of her shows yet. That quote though hurts. Total disaster on stage? Wow, they sent the wrong journalist to see her.

But as a person said on the french forum, we can guess that it's always better for an artist to have extreme reactions ... It's better than a consensus ... It means that the artists did something that makes people react ...
