<  iCollaborations  ~  News - "Deal With It"

I know that at this point, everyone is focused on Ellipse, but I wanted to share a little piece of kinda-news about the unreleased "Deal With It."

I just asked Guy about whatever happened to "Deal With It." His reply: "I had no idea it wasn't available. Both Immi & I love it. I'll ask Mark Wood if there's any reason we can't release it."

YAY! I can't even imagine how good it would be to hear something "new" from Frou Frou. Anyone who's interested can cross their fingers/toes/everything that we get to hear this track in its entirety.

Hate to bum everyone out, but what if he's just talking about the "sampled" version of the song. That could be all that was created?

I think the release of Ellipse would be a good opportunity to re-release Details, with some bonus tracks. I haven't heard Deal With It, so I don't know how good it is, but there are several other possibilities.

A re-release could be timed to take advantage of the interest created by Ellipse. There will be a lot of people hearing Immi for the first time, and wanting to check out her earlier work. And they should revise the cover so that Immi's and Guy's names are on it, like:

Imogen Heap/Guy Sigsworth
FROU FROU
Details


That way at least people will know who Frou Frou are!

In her Q magazine Q & A she says Frou Frou will definitely be doing something. Does she mean this track - or maybe something more as well???

Depends on how recent it is. If that interview was taken in the last... 2 days, it probably means just Deal With it. If it was taken earlier, it means new stuff.
