I'm guessing most people on here have heard of Jessie James in one way or another. Her single "Wanted" is doing quite well on the charts.
I wanted to make a thread about her because I am in LOVE with her! Do not make the mistake of passing her off as pre-packaged pop because that is not so. I bought her cd yesterday when it came out and I was pleasantly surprised to find her name for songwriting credits for every song but one.
So today I drove about forty five minutes to a WalMart in the town I'm soon moving to because I heard she was going to be there. I was incredibly excited and drove so bad that I never want to be in the car with myself again. BUT ANYWAY! She came out and sang acoustically...in WalMart!
Her voice is so MASSIVE! I don't know where it comes from! She's so tiny and adorable! I also got to meet her and she was an absolute pleasure to talk to. She signed my cd and I got the chance to babble about how much I love her and blah blah and she took a picture with us. She actually continued to talk to me even as we walked away. This was definitely the best day I have had all summer!

I also got to talk to her two guitarists. They were hilarious and I liked them a lot. They took a picture with us too. We made jokes about WalMart together...while standing in one. It was fun! |
