Pardon my ignorance, but what is Frou Frou? I understand that it's a musical group, but how does it correlate with Imogen Heap?
The reason I ask is because there are many people posting here saying they came from Frou Frou...? |

Wooh! A fellow Canadian! Welcome! Frou Frou is (was ) a collaboration between Imogen and Guy Sigsworth (he's produced Bjork, Madonna, Seal, Mandalay, the list goes on ). Their album, Details, is a stunning piece of work. It's a combination of Immi's sublime voice, heartfelt, meaningful lyrics and outstanding electronica influenced production. Check it out! |

Well I have never heard of Frou Four nor Imogen Heap prior to hearing her music on The O.C.
All this sort of music is quite foreign to me. |

| I love the fact that Immi's music and Frou Frou's music differ. I have the same favorite singer in two genre's. |

Just purchased the album online, from Walmart.com of all places (but $0.88USD/song is pretty good).
It's actually quite good. Really really weird though; trance/ambient backgrounds, but new age voice over top. Refreshing to say the least. |

Come Wally... walk with me -- you're one of us now...
Frouification only takes a moment...
Immification lasts a lifetime.

hehe... I was pleased with myself for that.
Yes. People are most often first Frouified (as FF is more well-known at this point) but then they discover that Immi has her own world spinning 'round... and of course -- like me -- are then Immified.
Immification is best!
Luv FF - don't get me wrong. But, Immi's on her own way now I think.
So, step up you new folks, Froubles, Froubies, FrouFans and FrouHeads - and say....... "Immify Me!"
...and lookout for the Immification tour 2005 or 06... |

That Frou Frou album is actually really good. I'll need to look for it in stores.
"Let Go" sounds awesome.
Good night driving music. |

You know, Immi's new solo album is actually inspired by her Frou Frou experience i think. So all the FF-lovers won't be dissapointed for sure
Is 2nd FF collaboration gonna happen? Immi would love to do it. Time and fate will give as the answer. |

"Details" is great. I've been into Imogen thanks to this album. I like the sound which is a little bit close to trip-hop and drum'n'bass...
By the way, yesterday in an english show "As If" I heard in the episod "The dumbing down of love"...I've been positively surprised (does that mean something?) |

Wally, I'm also from Alberta. I found a copy of "Details" about 2-3 months ago @ HMV in Market Mall (in calgary). They only had one other copy left. The lady told me that they special ordered it in for a customer and order 7 extra copies. So if they don't have it, they can order it special. I also think it was in the "electronic music" section. Good Luck. It the best CD I've ever heard. |

details is one of the best albums ever written. one of the few that i can listen to over and over, nonstop, everyday, for every mood. it's magic for the ears... something you want to experience being made.
i really hope she teams up with guy again. it would be an understatement to say they work well together. |
