On the way in to manhattan. Sun is out! In LA, KCRW 10 min radio interview and First Train Home playback will be 10.20PST 10th July. x

Can we hear this online anywhere? I'm planning to record it but it'll probably be a crappy recording as I only have a small recorder. Hopefully, I can convert it and upload it afterwards.

check their website.

as for recording it. trying using an internal application.
like Audacity or Audio Hijack (Mac) and record directly from the soundcard.

It'll premiere 1:20 my time, but I'll be in class. Hopefully someone with the resources available will record it.

I do hope that someone catches this or that it becomes available online. I'm pretty sure people are dying to hear what she has produced!

Hmm... you can record it with Audacity, even on a website?

How so? Very Happy

Erm, I mean... we're not trying to record anything *cough, cough* *hides from James* Laughing

I downloaded Audio Hijack and tested it out. I am currently in the LA area so I think I'll have perfect access to the radio. I didn't want to buy a license so I won't be able to record more than 10 minutes at a time.

I may not be able to make it back to my computer on time; can someone else be able to be a backup?

Of course, if James is okay with this. If not I'll be happy to not record/spread it around. Very Happy

Here's the info for "First Train Home" on KCRW.

KCRW has this thing called "Today's Top Tune" and it happens at about the same time Morning Becomes Eclectic so maybe 'First Train Home' will be the Top Tune of the day. In which case, it's uploaded and we can listen over and over again! Shocked Very Happy

Lets hope!

So, I have a question.

When listening online do time changes still exist? i.e.; would 10:20 am PST time actually be 12:20 EST time?

I think it does... and it's actually 1:20 p.m. I guess.

Oh well, I'm still waking up at 9, haha.

I'll be recording it from my soundcard too. Only thing is while recording, no sound comes out of my speakers... so I may borrow my mom's laptop in order to listen AND record on my own computer!

As for the time and the time change... well if it was 10:20 in EST... then we'd hear the future... 'cause at 10:20 HERE, it's 7:20 THERE... and the show will not be yet recorded at 7:20... So my bet is that 1:20 is the right time... nevertheless, I'll start the recording in advance, juste to be sure and to verify that it is recording well. Can't wait

I thought tough that we would see the Canvas video before FTH, since James said that it'd probably be the first thing we'd hear from Ellipse... I guess some things came up... Well, I won't complain anyway, I'm thrilled for FTH, and the Canvas video must not be too far away!

Good listen tomorrow y'all! And... good courage to those who are really gonna wait for the actual album to listen to anything

I've checked this. If you're in the UK make sure you're online at around 6:00pm. The broadcast really starts at 6:20pm but I'd say tune in before then just to be safe.

Is it on the "Live" streaming or the "Music" streaming? I can't see to find any info about her appearance on the website.

Super excited. Woke up at 10 even though it probably doesn't start till 1 and have been listening to KCRW all morning. When recording can you try to get the full Morning Becomes Eclectic episode?

Thanks Tiff. Smile

Edit: If you click Tiff's link, it takes you to music and not live, so make sure you change it.
