I like your version a lot - it's far from ordinary. None of the iBabblers has submitted an ordinary version, IMO.
Peace. |

Hey @D_W_L,
Thank you so much.
Don't worry I download all of them in a cyber caffè two days before today. I asked you because I thought they were out-line and you talked about your hard-drive and the files. For some reasong everything went right in two hours I finished the downlaoading prosses.
jaj....
I will use MPT, this is a very good traker. I have familiarized with its GUI. I retire what I said about MadTraker,
MPT is better, large enough.
A lot of fun |

thanks! It's just that everyone's versions are so full of energy and creative:) the only word I could think of to describe the chords and instrumentation I've used was ordinary |

One thing I was told by my Mum and Sister regarding the artwork is that the work you produce is your own and it's original. As long as you're happy with what you've produced, you shouldn't worry about anything else.
Admittedly, I was personally thrown when I came across someone elses artwork because you question whther you're own is any good. But at the end of the day, you're work will be admired by someone for one or multiple reasons. What your song has, may or not be had by someone else.
Always be proud of your work, and never doubt it. And most of all, don't compare, because it's impossible to do with someone elses. |

Yes, ModPlug Tracker has come along way since it's inception as Scream Tracker, I was using that in 1990 when it only had 4 channels to work with!

It's still thr 16th, plus Imogen is in NY at the moment, so it's not going to be much of a problem. I don't think it's a problem if it's not bang on the 16th. Plus there was no specific time limit designated so assume that it's 23:59 tonight. |

Hello everyone!
Something's wrong with songs uploaded to twestival - no one seems to care about putting them up in Imogen's soundcloud anymore, so i've made my version public. Please, do give it a listen and tell me what you think.

Sounds good srgk I also uploaded my track on her site about two weeks ago and haven't seen it posted, so I posted it on myspace.

My understanding is that she has no control to downloading tracks and that soundcloud is responsible for doing that once they have been uploaded there. There is a deadline for uploading songs, but you know how her deadlines come and go. So I would think she would give people the benefit of the doubt and continue to take submissions.
Hoping the best for yours also. |

Yours was very interesting! Very "Swoon"...
Me liked, especially in the chorus.

Imogen finally had time to update/upload the songs onto her SoundCloud box thingy... so happy to see my version up there! Just gives confirmation that she got it and will listen to it.
Although, I feel bad that she'll have to listen to essentially the same melody over and over again 300 + times I hope there's enough original versions to make her not hate the song completely. Wouldn't it be cool if she performed a different version every night on tour?
I think I have the longest one though so that would be hard. |

I think the suspense of knowing whether or not immi heard/will hear my version of the song is killing me more than the wait for the album, haha. Maybe they're equal. It's too bad we probably won't get any confirmation unless she really likes the version and uses it for the E.P.
I'm positive she won't send out 300+ emails saying "I've listened to your song. Loved it." And if she does, it will probably be a neutral written letter of thanks or something.
Hmmm. |

Fundamentally, are different but that is what makes it beutiful, it's like when you see a beutiful flower, there are lots of them, but your eyes are focused on in only one. Crossed brains. crossed intelligences. developed from one side a organ. like to plant everything, but cannot see really, and enjoy the visions. Ok, forget about everything, mean, everything, she will give a chance I do not know why but it is just a belive. probably she was drunk hah... 325 songs same vocals different samples. speak for yourself is killing me.
hey What E.P. stands for? |
