That's a really nice piece of art there Aloiv. How did you do it? Is it done on some kind of fabric?

Simple, but really nice. Very Happy

I actually used The Scribbler tool from Ze Frank's website, then went into photoshop and noodled around for a few hours. The paper was a pain though cause even now I don't like it Dx

Actually... most of my current artwork is based on the type of pen and paper I use. It has to be the right kind of paper otherwise the ink runs and since my artowrk is very fine and exact, I have little room for error.

So I understand.

Well, I'm posting a song I recorded, sung, and played in here cause... well its art, and its all me so I would think it would be legit here ^^;

Anyways, I'm sure most of you are familiar with the song "Hallelujah" seeing as the Jeff Buckley version is the most downloaded track off iTunes and Immi even did a version of it for... The O.C. I think it was. Anyways, I've been obsessing for this song for the past week or so, and finally I decided to record my own rendition, with all the bells and whistles of a studio recording (or at least as much as I could. I recorded it in one take and added reverb to the vocal and guitar tracks)

Anyways, if this doesn't belong for some reason, tell me, but otherwise tell me what you think ^^;

VERY nice.
Love the colours and the floral designs. The simple text font highlights the floral design so it's not too complicated.

Broken Currency
Alive, Fall, Free
In Broken Minds and dead bodies
Outmanned and defenseless
It's our bitter defeat

We left our enemies
Only a rifle shot, white hot
Whiteness, souless, unrelenting
This darkness must surely stop

your true confession
leaves me weak
an aching dream
will remember your name
foolish you making us
bright with jealousy
turned the sorrow
Somehow feeling cold
Sailing out yonder
Where no wave hits

Here's a couple of a number of doodles I did while I was at home for Christmas. They were done pretty roughly and only in montones so nothing exciting but these ones I liked and wanted to share them Smile

Just a stylised 'S'.

I did this illustrative piece for the random banter. It has no specific meaning except perhaps, nature? It was developed after I did the flower head at the end of the top S bend.

This was a possibility concept for an idea I had. Framing artworked emotions. This one is an idea for depicting love, hence the shape of a heart.

Senescence, your photos are awesome.
And Him.Over.There., your doodles are very creative and nice to look at. I really like the one in the middle, it reminds me of some kind of dreamy landscape.

Aw thank you! See that's what I was trying to achieve... I kinda just drew away at the time and didn't really plan what it was going to turn out like.

Glad you liked Very Happy
