I first heard Lady Gaga somewhere on Youtube, with her first single "Just Dance". It's a real catchy song, and I can't seem to get it out of my mind. Her voice reminds me a bit of a rough Christina Aguilera sometimes. But I think she's a lot sleazier than her. Either way, "Just Dance" is a great song imho, you should check youtube for it somewhere. I haven't heard anything else of her upcoming album, and I'm hoping it won't be a one hit wonder. I'm really lovin' her style.

I wanted to bring this topic back up.
I have recently become 'obsessed' with Lady Gaga. They've finally started playing her video for, "Just Dance" on MTV and on playing the song on the radio stations! I cannot wait for her album to come out...which is still another week away.
One thing I would love to bring out is that she writes all of her songs by herself. What pop star does that?! I love that about her, it's amazing.
Oh, and she sings live at her performances. AND she's dancing! People complain about hearing her breathing during her performance, but they'd be complaining if it was a lip sync. You just can't please everyone. But she certainly has pleased me! I love people who can actually sing live! |

Lady Gaga's CD finally came out in the US and it's like...eating a million pounds of chocolate without gaining one pound!
I'm addicted to it and can't get her songs outta my head...wouldn't want to anyway!!! |

| I just saw her new video for Pokerface, and I love it! Especially the beginning is amazing, after that it's just a bit of the same. But still very well done. I wish her the best, not that she's going to need it:P |

Apparently I'm the sole Not At All.  For me it's mainly because "Just Dance" was on our last soundtrack at work and it gets grating to hear about once an hour everyday. |

Although, I do hate it when I'm watching the video for "Poker Face" on MTV Hits and I hear:
"Cuz I'm bluffin' with my *silence*."
Who said she means anything dirty by Muffin? Noo...MTV takes it upon themselves to decide what's okay for us to hear. Maybe it's the FCC. Either way, it's annoying. |

Gaga and I have an on and off relationship. She'll turn me on for a few songs (Just Dance, Love Game) and then I just don't get others (Poker Face, Paparazzi).
I can't deny she can't sing - she's amazing. Can't deny she's a bit odd either |

Though, I'm still baffled as to why she's re-releasing "The Fame" when "The Fame Monster" has EIGHT new songs. That's almost an entire album! Couldn't she have created a few more and called it "Monster"? Anyway, I'm excited. She knows I'll buy it so she's torturing me!
And Lil_G135, my heart broke at the two songs you haven't gotten into! "Poker Face" is my best friend in a song. I've played it over 500 times since Christmas. "Paparazzi" has always been one of my favorites off the album and I feel we can all relate (at some point in our lives) to it! |

haha, I tried with Poker Face, I really did! When I first heard it, it was only pieces and I loved it! But when I heard the entire song it just didn't click. And Paparazzi is okay, but just doesn't catch me at all. Maybe if I ever get the song and just sit and listen I'll get it, but I really can't identify with it now ^^;; |
