Well, cameras were being checked at the door -- Thankfully Toasty was sneaky with her batteries-in-the-sock bit. I had to relinquish my batteries in order to get into the show, but I did happen to get this shot and a few others with my phone. Thought I'd share it with you guys.
Sammy, Toasty, Tiff, me and marchie were all right up front. Immi's skirts swooshed past my face more times than I can count. She was about 6" away and happened to look right down at me when I snapped this shot. Wheeeee. |

No flash - it was my camera phone.
Well, MWR, she was singing Hide and Seek at the close of the show, so a smile would have been a bit out of spot. Still yet, it was a great moment. |

great pictures! i was also there. i was the other tiffany in the front 2 rows (right behind toasty). it was good meeting some of you!
i didn't even bother trying to sneak my camera even though in retrospect i'm sure i could have gotten away with it. i took some pictures on my cameraphone. |

| obviously immi isn't opposed to her fans taking pictures during the show. i don't understand why some venues can't just ask the artist which they prefer. urks me! great sneaky shots toasty and fire! |

I'm not sure either, bd -- and we were all wondering the same thing. The venue folks at this show were telling everyone that the no pics policy was "at the request of the artist." Funny, photos were allowed in the venue the night before... and just about every venue before that on the tour, as I understand. |

| right on. i think it is strange. you would think that if immi didn't want cameras at one venue, she wouldn't want them at any of the venues on the tour. unless she was recording that particular performance, then i can understand. i had no problem getting my camera into the avalon, and i wasn't hiding it. also, it is hard for me to believe that immi doesn't want cameras at her shows because she has a moblog with hundreds of pictures from her shows! wonder if the dudes were just on their high-horses? |

wow, i haven't posted here in quite a long, long time. i lurk. i joined well over a year ago.
the show was amazing...(!)except for the little fact that a couldn't see
half of it as i was in my wheelchair. but, from reading this post,
i know who it was in front of me...
is it normal for immi to sell out of shirts?
the sound was kinda sucky up front and the whole no camera thing was bad, but imogen blows my mind. |

Great pictures all. I am blown away by that first one of Toasty's! I remember how hard it was for me to get ANY pictures that weren't completely blurred beyond recognition and in focus, much less something as crisp and well composed as that!
Bravo. |
