Immi put on a great show! She unfortunately did struggle through some of it, and it did show, but it made her performance all that more explosive because she powered through it. She mentioned that she has been battling a sore throat. I think the high-light song of the evening was "Can't Take It In." It was just absolutely beautiful live. All in all an excellent show.

I am hoping that the sound level will be louder for Zoe Keating tonight in Seattle as she was hard to hear and, in my opinion, the crowd started to lose interest about 3 songs in. I do think it was the venue/sound and not the artist. What I could hear sounded wonderful, and she is quite talented.

Good luck tonight to both Zoe and Immi. I hope your throat holds out for you. One more night!

what a fabulous weekend this has turned out to be.
started with hearing Immi on the KINK listening lounge Friday afternoon.
she played a very amazing live Hide and Seek and Goodnight and Go.

what a treat as they mention that she is doing a INSTORE at our very own music millenium Laughing
this is so amazing as natives of Portland, that play music do all their releases in this store, so i am lucky enough to say I have played on the same stage as IMMI, just months previous!

she did 4 songs and was the cutest thing ever!
(in no order, goodnight and go, hide and seek, headlock, the walk)
we melted.. I will post the pics and some video later this week!!

we met her after only standing in line for 20 minutes.. my good friend Chris totally blew me over (as I wanted a cool private chat with her.. as cool and private as it could be, with a line of 60 folks..) he went on and ON and ON about BT and her colab with him.. how silly - we are here to see/hear her you funny man!!! he promised to bring her a CD from BT and she signed mine "love and kisses"

I felt nervous she may think we were loco and since she had surpirsed us with this gig ...
(we had bought tix the day they went on sale for Portland and SEATTLE)
I wanted to give her something ..
we had all come from work and friday crazy traffic, so all I had was a ROUGH mix of a new LIVE cd we were putting out..
I said to her "a treat from the NW" - not sure if she will listen but it was fun to give her my cd, as she signed ours..
(we had all bought her cd, all 5 of us when it came out, but bought a new one for a signature that eve)
so cool, we have 1 cd, 4 signatures as Chris didnt get one.. Smile too busy chatting about BT!! hehe
we then head over to Dante's on Saturday and I have been to many a show at this venue, the sound is normally amazing.. we jam 600+ peeps into this venue all ready to cheer ZOE and IMMI on. IT was very sad that ZOE was so quiet I was in the 4th row and still couldnt hear her unless she strummed the cello.. when she plucked it was too quiet.
we tried to get people to shut UP and I was amazing it lasted so long being a saturday and a BAR afterall.
good JOB ZOE, you pushed through like the true star you are...
(OH, I forgot, HOW rude of me, I got to meet ZOE at Music Mill just as we were leaving - she is lovely and very nice..)
anyway the saturday show was terrific, IMMI looked so pretty in this cool head piece.. it looked like floating butterflies above her head.. turns out she got in Portland.. (per my good friend HD, sorry IMMI - we were going to stand in line, just so this time I could actually say HI, but we will see you this eve in SEATTLE!!!~I hear you asked "where is the BT CD" - she remembered and was funny about it even!)
so I know - this is a LONG story.. but it is worth it..
she sang for over an hour., she was a little nervous about her voice, and I could relate "only" because when you tour straight, by day 20 you are hoarse, even talking in general take a tole.
~can you all imagine talking to all of us, being her lovely friendly self! and singing sooo gorgeously.. I personally think at that moment you are showing if you are a star.. we all know this answer but she IS!~

she pushed through with her magic potion on stage and IT DID HELP!! it looked like a juice or tinxture, although we joked it could have been cough medicine.. Smile TERRIFIC SHOW! FAN for life.
I love her and Immi, please do come back.
I hear maybe in APRIL......
we are all ready and soo thrilled.
thanks for putting your album out FOR ALL OF US and thanks for coming all this way to US. we love you and you are truely a nice person.. inside and out..

(inside out, upside down twisting besides myself..."the walk")
oh - my favorite song, "have you got it in you" was gorgeous..
see you 2night..
love love love~Amanda Wink

Para 6.

“After this, my new ‘normal’ album sounds more like indie bands,” he says, “which are what I listen to primarily, than my previous work. It’s got beautiful jangly guitars all over it, like Death Cab for Cutie or something. Imogen Heap is going to sing on it — I get goosebumps just thinking about her voice. I’ve always wanted to take those elements and put them in a context that makes sense on a dance floor.”

Laughing so I'm Chris, the purported bt fanatic, and obviously amanda, I'm not alone Razz The show(s) were of course nothing short of majestic. I also got to see her perform at doug fir on the hotel cafe tour which was just as good if not better because her voice was all there. I think imogen is the only artist I like with relatively not much music out that I dont get tired of. Its that angelic, genuine, disparate, and addicting voice!! She was excited to get the best of bt cd's I made for her, she even wrote that on the picture with her hands out towards the camera in her album booklet with two exclamation points, so there. I had her draw a heart in them and sign. But seriously, imogen has the best voice, and of course is an excellent producer and writer but BT takes the best of all producer and writer award so thats why I'm so stoked about this collab. Anyway, looking forward to april. Hopefully she can make the schedule a bit easier on the next tour, and come with some new tunes!!

Wow! How cool will a collaboration between Immi & BT be!

Does anyone know when the album/song will see the light of day?
