I've heard Immi and a man on Maddening Shroud, on Acacia, on YouTube.
I've never heard Immis voice in the other tracks on Acacia. Is she playing any instrument or something? |

I asked Immi: "-How do you do that recording-thing?"
"@MajaNilsson1996 Congrats on finishing "covered in white'. A lovely song w/some good twists/turns. YOUR voice sounds nice on it x
@MajaNilsson1996 - though you've done great work, I won't be singing or playing on it though. Sorry. Lots of love.

HEY GUYS
It's brilliant that we are all coming together as one and compiling such a large list of these Immi songs!
I have two songs that might not have been included in the list.
(Sorry if someone already flagged these up in the previous comments in the thread)
1) IAMX - SPIT IT OUT (IMOGEN HEAP REMIX)
It features additional vocals from Immi singing a few lines and providing mesmerizing backing vocals. It's so brilliant that I no longer listen to the original, yes.. it's that good! It's not avaliable to download, but it's avaliable on IAMX's 'IAMIXED' remix album, which isn't that cheap.
2) IMOGEN HEAP - CUMULUS (ALTERNATE MIX)
OK, so it's not really a 'new' addition, but this edited mix of 'Cumulus' is amazing. If, like me, you absolutely adore this song, it's well worth purchasing the 'Late Night Tales' album by 'The Cinematic Orchestra'. You can't buy the track individually, you need to buy the whole album, or just buy the physical release of the album, it's cheaper. What's special about this song you say? Well for starters, it's the chance to own 'Cumulus' physically on CD as you can only get the normal edit digitally and the song 'Joga' by Bjork fades into the beginning of the song (when listening to the album without shuffle activated), the end of 'Joga' gets remixed into it bit by bit, eventually disappearing as the full track of Cumulus continues. It's brilliant. The beginning of 'Cumulus' has deep pulsing drums as 'Bjork' fades away and it just puts a whole new burst of life into the beginning.
Let me know what you think!
And if they are at all relevant! I think they should be added, as technically, we have the other remixes listed.
PeaceOut! |
