We often get emails form people wanting to purchase Immi's debut solo album 'I Mgeaphone', but to be honest, it's pretty hard to come by. The original version (released in 1998) is now deleted & you'll be hard pressed to find an un-used copy. You can however get the Japanese version that was re-released in 2001.

This may be of some help...

Get the Japanese 2001 version (with bonus track) from HMV Japan here:

You can also get your mits on 'Music Pool 2002' - a CD/DVD from Imogen touring in support of Japan's 'Yaiko' in 2001. The CD include 2 live Immi tracks and the DVD has 'Angry Angel' and 'Candlelight' live, as well as Immi singing to songs with Yaiko. You also get the promo video for the new version of 'Aeroplane' which was a single in Japan in 2001:

I purchased a copy of iMeg last year,, wonderful CD... I often put "sleep" on repeat as im working on my computer, usually towards the end of my day or nearing 4am... to help me.. well.. sleep...

i found a copy of iMeg for less than three pounds on the uk amazon site.. sadly i have yet to recieve it and i'm beginning to lose hope that those guys will send it which makes me sad... Crying or Very sad

but hopefully it will at turn out well.. and if not, ska will scour new zealand for me and find me a copy, huh? Wink

i ordered it a month ago, but from the uk amazon site and they don't ship to the states, but i talked to the guy in charge and he said that he would ship it to me, but you know how long it can take for things to go over seas... but hopefully i'll get it..

(back from trip to UK ^^)

I looked through at least 5 HMV stores in that country during my vacation and I was disappointed to find no copies and no chance of it being in those stores ever again. *sigh* High expectations, ya know. Anyways.. Amazon, here I come. ^^;

um, not a new copy - just an unbought copy - it looks like it been on the shelf since it was release (the cover is all scratchy and dirty - though the sleeve still in good nick. i'm surprised that it still at full price tho - cos normally if something dont sell they try to flog it off cheap).

I think i'll have to buy this copy too Smile

, just to stop skaro from monopolising the world's supply Laughing

. what is it for anyway, i bet he reckons when the rest of the world cottons onto how wonderful and gorgeous immi is that the album will be in demand and he will be able to sell his copies off to the highest bidders! Twisted Evil

nah i buy them so that ppl who are amazed when they hear iMEG can have a copy - you can't just go out and buy it. i need at LEAST two copies for myself, i like to have 2 copies of my fave albums.

i was surprised there's a NOS copy in your local after 6 years Shocked

does it have the bonus CD? (i think this particular release was only NZ and Aust)

skaro, NO, no bonus CD. i didn't get it with my copy either - ripped off (then again i was a bit slow in discovering immi - it was only by virtue of frou frou that i found her!). i tend to copy all my cd's to MD so i don't have to use them that way i can avoid damage (plus i seem to have grown earphones instead of ears). plus my other halfg inevitably scratches his own CD's (through neglect) so must hide my cd's from him (esp. frou frou which is a household fave and i've taken it to work recently and have my workmates hooked - they walk around the office singing along to immi - SOOO COOL - gives me tingles cos i'm spreading the love!)
