| I was lucky enough to have been at the Roundhouse last night - the first time I've seen Imogen live. Amazing show, thanks for a great night - you can never trust technology though... |

| From what I heard so far.... everyone rocked it. There was some technical difficulties in the beginning, but they were sorted after a reboot. Immi flew on a broom. Immi and Guy did 'Let Go' and some 1800s (or was it 1900s) Harpsicord madness (Guy wore a Temposhark 'Joy' tshirt). Arve was a big hit... and that's all I've gotten. |

I think the technical problems were pretty much constant, she had to change what she had planned to perform.
There was also swearing at said equipment. Who'd have thought Immi knew such rude words |

The good thing about Immi's London shows is that no one is better than the other - each one if unique, just like Immi! |

anyone got an idea of a setlist?
I'm tempted to save up and go to one of the later uk shows. If I can find a way to get there. It would be so cool! |

Back from London
The Gig was amazing (flying immi )
It was so sad that i haven't meet some of you guys.I left Roundhouse at
11:30 maybe to early but it was my first Tube experience so i was afraid
to miss the last one.
However i had so much fun to see immi Live. If she perform again in
London, i'll be there.
I have posted some pictures from the gig on immi's Moblog and bigger
versions are on my Flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/darthsocke/sets/72157594376195746/ |

Hi everyone. The Roundhouse was the second time I've seen Imogen live, and boy was it incredible. As others have said, I really hope the audio from this show is made available sometime, 'cause every version of evey song was increbile.
Since no one has posted a set list yet, here it is. The songs are very loosely in order, but I can't remember the exact order. If anyone does remember the order, please post a reply, 'cause I'd like to know myself. Oh, and the stuff in parenthesis tells you what supporting musicians she had for the song. I might have also messed some of that up, but it'll give you a basic idea.
Improv Intro while flying around
I Am In Love With You
Goodnight & Go (Guitarist from Nemo)
Clear The Area (Percussionist, Arlo(?))
Come Here Boy
[Frou Frou Song] (Guy)
Speeding Cars
Just For Now
Headlock (Nemo, Percussionist)
Closing In (Nemo, Percussionist)
The Walk (Nemo, Percussionist)
Have You Got It In You (Nemo, Percussionist)
Daylight Robbery (Nemo, Percussionist)
Hide And Seek
Let Go (Guy)
The Moment I Said It |

| thanks armadillo17 for posting the setlist - i am quite useless at remembering the order so can't help you there but the first frou frou song Immi did with Guy was "Breathe in". Let's hope we get to see and hear the gig at some point in the future since it was filmed on the night... |

Right....I THINK this was the correct setlist...do correct me if I'm wrong.
Intro [Whilst Flying Around]
I Am In Love With You
Speeding Cars
Goodnight & Go [With Nemo Guitarist]
Clear The Area [With Arve & Percussion man]
Headlock [With Nemo]
Come Here Boy
Closing In [With Nemo]
Breathe In [With Guy Sigsworth]
Just For Now
The Walk [With Nemo]
Have You Got It In You [With Nemo]
Encore:
Hide & Seek
Let Go [With Guy, Arve & Percussion man]
Daylight Robbery [With Nemo]
The Moment I Said It
But seriously WOW...best I've ever seen Immi! The whole flying thing was just absolutely magical. I loved the guests she had on stage this time (although I prefer her live solo version of Let Go). I take back what I said previously about disliking the live drums...they weren't that bad this time round (helped by the percussion man who broke up the harshness of the drums with his little beats)...still hated the drums in "Closing In".
Arve has some major talent (unfortunately I think the audience found it hard to concentrate during his set after being worked up by Nemo and also because it was a standing concert).
Also, James, it was really good to finally meet you in the flesh. You seemed like a really nice guy, and I can see why you're good friends with someone like Immi. Also, Thanks for not ruining the "surprise"...it totally made the concert that bit better!
and Didi, your photos are amazing...I love the ones of the London Eye.
Amen then...Brilliant show (& Alan, I think i'm as disappointed as you are that you didn't come I was looking forward to meeting you!) |

Arve got a far better reaction than Nemo from where i was standing. Shame i cant find a sample of his album anywhere so i could consider buying it.
I really liked Immi's flying intro though, whatever she was singing it lovely and i hope it'll appear on the next album in some form
It was a long night though, doors were supposed to open at 7pm but didn't until 7:30, the queue to get in was huge and stretched all the way up the hill round the side. I swear those Dominos pizza guys who kept going past were for the people at the back. Didn't get out til 11:30 i think, lucky i didn't hang around because i only just caught the last bus home once i'd got off the train. |

| I preferred Arve's music over Nemo's sooo much. I've seen Nemo 3 times now, and I still don't have much desire to buy any of their music, whereas that's the first time seeing Arve live, and I'd love to buy an album or something, as that's the kind of stuff I'd love to listen to whilst unwinding in my room after a stressful day. |

Hi to those I met at the show - was nice to put in-the-flesh faces to the names/avatars here!
It's great that different people got different things out of the support acts - that's what's cool about Immi's shows - there's usually something for everyone!
My longest standing friend came to show having heard SFY once and thinking Immi "sounds a bit like Dido" - I scoffed at her and told her to watch/listen - half way through she turned to me and went "she's REALLY good isn't she!?" DUH! |

That's similar to a friend of mine and Adam's who used to refuse to listen to Immi and complained that she looked too mascualine, etc. She's now eating her words, and went to go see her at the Birmingham gig and frickin' loved it!
I sadly didn't get to meet you at the gig, James. I did spy you from afar, and you were looking lovely m'dear
I have to agree with me old chum Adam here. I would much rather buy an Arve album to chill out to, rather than Nemo, who I thought were good but I didn't think that they were anything special compared to a lot of these Indie artists out nowadays.
Didi, loving the pics! Thank you muchly for posting. Sadly my friend put her bad in the cloakroom along with my camera, so these were much appreciated. |
