Ugh, why do some people have to be so nasty? Probably disgustingly drunk. Rolling Eyes

He was trying to be funny, he failed. Zoe was talking about how the Cello and mic picked up any sounds coming from the audience and said something like "Do you want to test it, shout something". This is a British crowd, there'll always be someone with that sense of humour. I doubt he meant it.

Ah, then. Well, poor form from this Yank's POV. Confused

Yeah, I didn't get the full story either "Fire" before I suggested some harm be applied to the lad Embarassed

Ahh, what an awesome gig, Immi was absolutely fantastic live, wasnt sure what to expect as this was my first gig, but i thoroughly enjoyed it. Cool

The guy who attempted to be funny wasnt standing that far from where i was, right of centre.

Unfortunately my phone sucks a little so only the non bassy songs came out decent ish. Anyone know where i can host them?

Ok i'm going to hold you legally responsible Wink
I wish i had Speeding Cars but i didn't have enough memory to capture every song.

The sound and picture quality isn't great. If anyone wants to buy me a new camera i'll do better next time.

Time for my proper review….

Set list
just for now
the walk
come here boy
closing in(her bf joined her on stage on drums, mr hopkins took over some keyboard duties at immis station, then zoe and another dude on an array of different instudents. first time she played it live too.Ive never seen anything like it)
headlock
clear the areaa
let go
loose ends
blankett
have you got it in you
speeding cars(my fave of the night)
hide and seek
daylight robbery
--------------
goodnight and go
the moment i said it

So we drove past the venue excited as we saw every line up. We went to the queue for the stalls and lined up and walked into the venue.
We luckily got a place up the front. Right beside NIN. Lol.
I went and got my uncle some water and on the way I met Rob from temposhark. Lovely man.

So the legend that is zoe kicked off and killed one hell of a set.
When tetrishead came on I felt like screaming but I think I would have been alone.

Hopkins played one hell of a set. I see a big future for him because the man was mind blowing. He music was brilliant and I can see why him and immi are friends... and have played together.

Immi came on. As she does she communicates so well with everyone.
She opened with Just For Now. She recorded and looped everything just like miss keating. Just For Now had such a good rythem and feel to it. Felt like we where sitting around a campfire and someone was clapping and someone else was humming. It was truly lovely.

The walk was next and I just love that song. Its my fave out of the album and ruled. It was fantastic from beginning to end. The ending of the walk is what does it for me. The lalalalalalalala at the end is so special for me cause it reminds me of walking through the city after a convsation of closure. But the ending live is so sweet and soft. She breaks down to just piano and vocals.

Come Here Boy….something about this song that makes it timesless and everytime you hear it is fresh and new. It was so emotional and I was close to tears (first time of many)
Now came the band. Richie, immi, zoe,Hopkins and…….i forgot the last mans name. I was curious as to what they would do but “this is closing in…..first time I have played this live”
I was screaming! Closing In is a fantastic song.

Live…..WOW! The blended so well and it worked it really really did. The thing I heard people say when they heard of the band is “immi is making it easier for herself”
Now to be honest it was the exact same. The band just added an extra layer to it.

Headlock kicked ass. I was so in the mood for it after hearing it in the Cadburys advert. It rocked so hard, check out nin’s video for it.

Clear the area was fun. Although on the bottom the pile in terms of the album but still a fun fun fun song and I nodded away. I think it is better live to be honest.

Let go. Check NINS video. Let go was brilliant and it was another tear jerking moment. It brought back a lot of memories because that song was something that brought me through a very rough summer.

Loose Ends….
Dam did that girl let it out and kick some ass. She knows how to sing. This was full proof that she can sing as well and play. You know that moment ¾ of the way through where she screams…. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that live…people if you heard it you would be blown away. She was so in it and she it out and…it just was very special.

Blankett is was lovely. Especially to hear the dude from Urban Species on stage with her and they where so happy to be together.

Have You Got In You has always been a fave of mine. Reminds me of going through the London underground for the firs time. So to hear it was lovely and she did it so well love.

Speeding Cars was next. Firstly I heard it from adam b’s video first and it was lovely. So it felt strange to be one of the few singing along. I honestly think this is one of her best songs. Live its mind blowing and breathtaking. One of the best of the night for me!

Then Hide And Seek which was the crowd favourite it seems. It was great to hear. From the different versions I have heard this as the closest to the cd and the crowd loved it.

Daylight Robbery was the dancing one. I was just bobbing away to this one. She really attacked it and it showed her more rocky days.

She went then and people where clapping and stomping and out she came in the most amazing dress. She looked the part. They moved all her gear around and she played goodnight and go…..
WOOOW
Yet again this is better live and she blew us away. I cant wait for the single now and this will be the new crowd pleaser.

The moment I said was next and this was another emotional one. It was the end of the night and well worth all the money I spent. I was actually completely lost in the song and when she faded out with the bye bye bye bye bye bye I nearly fell into a dream.

One complaint …those camera men. Grrrrrrrr although one did redeem himself and he got me a set list. Kudos mister.

I tried to stay behind and get an autograph but no luck. I didn’t expect too either especially with such a big crowd.

Anyway……..
What a fantastic night!

Wow, that version of Just For Now was very different than what she did when I saw her in LA in January. Cool though! Thanks for posting your pics and videos wonnie! (and everyone else) Smile BTW, who is she hugging?

Hey everyone

Thanks so much for all of your videos and pics from the night! Someone recorded a video of "Let Go" and now it's on my favourites - I watch it continuously! However, I could hear Joel coughing and woo-ing towards the end which just made me laugh hysterically!

Thanks again!
MWAH XXXX 8)

P.s. did anyone record "Come Here Boy" all the way through?

Is it just me, or does anyone else have Immi playing in their heads since Thursday night. Especially Daylight Robbery, think she just got everyone up when she performed it. You guys who were in the front, you've got to let me join you next time, I dont take up much room!!!

I have a whole new appreciation for loose ends now. she attack that motherfucker so hard at the end it was amazing. daylight robbery was great apart from having no one to dance with. my uncle was barely able to stand that long. god bless the old.lol
