It was soooo hard to pick one song as a 'favorite' because each offers something completely unique and special.

And the winner is............ Hide & Seek

For starters, it is so haunting and hopeful at the same time. The simplicity of beat coupled with the intensity of the lyrics and sound blows me away. This is a song I can listen to and relate to no matter what mood I'm in. The lyrics are beautifully written and the song is breathtaking. Whenever I listen to it I am just absorbed by it and drawn into it. The only other song that I have been touched by as much is "Let Go".

Immi definitely has a knack for getting deep down into my soul and expressing things so accurately and eloquently. THANK YOU IMMI!!!!!

All the songs are so amazing that it's hard to pick a favourite.

I really love "Have You Got it in You", "Clear the Area", "Just for Now", and "The Walk." If I had to just a favourite, I'd have to go with "The Walk." It seems to be the crowd favourite, and with good reason, it's just so good.

I wouldnt know........ I would be listening to immi but... James just sent me an email saying that now after 4 weeks is that they are going to send my album. This sucks so much. I bought it back on the 15 of July or so and now I have to wait 14 days i guess so it could get to the US. This is out of control. I bet i wont even get it signed.. maybe 501........

I've finally decided on "closing in" - for me it is the most emotionally evocative song - the quirky drumming/beat really sets it off, I love the atmospheric vibe, and that piano phrase in the chorus just slays me. Hide and Seek comes a close second, followed by DR, HYGIIY, TMISI.

And i do like the funky new version of IAILWY Very Happy

I'm really starting to like Clear the Area alot. It's such a pretty song, and Immi's vocals in it are breath taking.

The Walk is currently my favourite song, but as with alot of my favourite music, it changes depending on which mood I'm in.

As I walk everywhere, I love the upbeat tempos of The Walk, Have you got it in you and Daylight robbery, to give me a little extra boost, whereas I can also chill to hide and seek/the moment I said it etc.

just one but that's impossible, SFY is so great!

*sob*

*check Itunes listening count*:
Loose Ends and The Walk are on par with 287 each
(and the rest is not far behind )
But i'll go for The Walk, so much emotion in it.

SFY ver. is the funky new ver. - the old one was just piano and vox.

I love Immi, but I have been waiting for her to release a song like Daylight Robbery for a while. Her voice can do so much and I always felt she had the stuff to pull it off. And Daylight Robbery proves right. It ROCKS!!! Closely followed by Hide and Seek, which is one of the most beautiful things i have ever heard!!!

Damn this is so hard! I have to be honest. "Speak For Yourself" is the only album in 3 years of which I basicly like all the tracks. The only track that hasn't really done it for me yet is "Just For Now". I immediatly fell in love with the magical sound of "Headlock", but was happy when further in the song an actual beat kicks in. I also love "The Walk", though I think the song could use a bit 'more'. "Hide & Seek" just keeps on mezmeriznig me. What an amazing song and what a brave choice as a single. I can NEVER grow tired of it. Especially the video shows Immi at her best.

I used to love "Goodnight and Go" but I've kind of overplayed it since I bought the O.C. Mix 4 cd. "Have You Got It In You" used to be one of my favorites as well but also kind of overplayed it. I like the 'dom dom' like opening of "Loose Ends" and I still kind of love it. Also I find "I am in love with you" simply irresistable, lol. The remaining tracks are very good as well, but these were in my opinion a couple of the highlights.

My favourite is Headlock now, well it really always has been. I just was in love with the walk well with alllll the tracks and i think it was the fact that i heard headlock before the album came out on that email thing that was sent around about the competion. But Headlock is a perfect song! I love it Very Happy

It's amazing to see someones face while listening if they haven't heard it before Razz

My friend was kinda like *this is nothing special* but crapped herself when the main beat came in, she now loves it!

LOL the same thing happened to me. I had a friend of mine in my car and played it for him. He wasn't too impressed at first until the drum beat came in. His eyes immediately got as big as quarters and he grabbed at the volume knob and blasted it as loud as we could stand it. Very Happy I took him to the store on the 1st so he could get his own S4Y copy and got an email from him this morning saying that he's never owned such a spectacular album in his life. we have another Immi convertee YAY!

I voted for "The Moment I Said It"

It's a great album closer. As with most everyone else, I had a hard time choosing. I think everyone of the tracks is very strong.

It's funny, the only song that took me a while to get used to was Goodnight & Go. It seemed a touch too "poppy" at first. It's only upon repeat listens that I've fully appreciated it. Now it's one of my favorites.

OK, I've been listening to the album on my mp3player all day now. And I've come to the conclusion that "Headlock" is definatly my favorite track. I love the magical vibe. Even the oompa-loompa background vocals fit perfectly! I just love, love, love, love the song. The lyrics, the music..her voice..it's so good! I didn't even know it was going to be her next single! It's a great opening..and what a poetic name for a song! I'm sorry..I'm just crazy about the song..lol.
