My guess is that these are all VERY small venues (at least the Chicago one is...only holds 900 people). Small/intimate venues are the best though. Many may be general admission/ standing room only... so SweetMegara you'll need to arrive plenty early to get up close to the stage (unless your venue is seated...in which case just buy the tickets AS SOON as they go on sale and request 'best available'... although I'm usually clueless as to how people score awesome tickets).

Hey, I've got a question for all you frequent concert goers: How do you meet the artists? I know people get vip passes and yada yada psycho's waiting outside the backdoors ready to jump someone... but seriously how do you meet an artist in a totally normal/ non-psycho way? Cool
Many of you have mentioned meeting immi at shows (and she's even said in her blogs that she hopes to meet i-babblers while on tour).

I sometimes bribe my bands into taking me on tour by offering to sell merch at the same time!

Immi was readily available after each of the 2 shows i saw her at! She will usually have some sort of autograph table and seemed so genuinely happy to meet everyone...it was amazing!

I'm so incredibly happy, I HAVE to go to the Immi show in October. I don't care what it takes, I will get into that show, oh my goodness. It's a dream come true, I WILL GET TICKETS WITHOUT A DOUBT! No amount is too much. It's beyond necessary. Mwahahahahahaha... oh and I reeeeeaaaaallly want to go see Rachael Yamagata at the Hotel Cafe as well... but I'm going to have to drive so far... but it's so damn worth it. Even more than that, though, Immi in San Francisco would be... I wish I could have a smilie face that would drop dead with an enormous smile on its face. As soon as ANYONE knows about presale, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET US KNOW.
