Hello all.
I'm going to begin working on a sketch of Imogen... well, by sketch, I mean drawing. Drawing is a passion of mine, and my inspiration comes from the music I love. I've always wanted to draw Imogen, but now I want to more than ever! I've just started experimenting with pencil pastels. I've only done one picture, and it is of Tori Amos. I was lucky enough to meet her in Chicago, on April 15 at her show at the Auditorium theater, and she signed this picture for me! Here is the unsigned picture:
So yes, I'd like Imogen to be my next subject! I'm looking for recent photos so I can begin to study her facial features and what not, since I've never drawn her! I'm excited to begin though. I'll probably write some lyrics on it as well.
AND, if all goes to plan, I'd love to give it to her in Chicago on August 31st.... IF she ends up touring with Tori. |

true story here- i started reading your post and i began to feel kinda bad, i thought "that doesn't look at all like immi, that looks EXACTLY like Tori Amos...." and then i finished reading and was very impressed. you're so talented, it's truly beautiful!

Aw, thanks! And yeah, I live 3 hours from Chicago but I am hoping to attend college there... one more year of high school *sigh* It's such a great city. The town I live in now is so small. I'm made for the city! |

Welp, whenever I get my copy (which I still have to pre-order.. I'm waiting for my paycheck for Wednesday  I'll probably miss the signed ones), I will look at the new photos! I can't waitttt. |
