Hello,
I am totally new to Imogen Heap. I was first introduced via the film Garden State.
I liked the soundtrack from the film so much that I went out and bought it which led me to Frou Frou (my favorite song on disc), to Imogen.
I am also an original musician doing the coffee shop scene which doesn't pay much but it does allow me to perform my own material without the smoke and the drunk "freebird" cat calls.
I am also a lover of many types of music but my favs are Ryan Adams, The Innocence Mission, The Sundays, David Wilcox, and newly Frou Frou and of course Imogen.
I am eagerly awaiting the new disc. Now I only wish that Harriet Wheeler and the Sundays would put out something new!
I'll be checking in here on the forum from time to time but won't necessarily be a heavy poster due to my time constraints. |

So what part of Michigan are you hiding out in?
I'm playing in Grand Rapids Friday night if you're nearby. |

Noe,
Nice to hear from you...can't blame you for crossing the pond to Chicago,
I've always had a great time there.....except the time our car got towed at the Ryan Adams show a few months ago. |

I was at the Ryan Adams concert a few months back
Yeah, this city is psycho about car ticketing/towing...I've lost much $$ to getting tickets here.
ps. I love the Muskegon/Grand Haven area! |

Gene,
That is really cool! I checked out their website and listened to the streaming tunes that were on the site. A lot different than my music for sure! I'm likes Jackson Browne shakes hands with Merle Haggard while he's talking to Gordon Lightfoot...ha ha
That's really something about Immi singing on their CD.
How did that happen?
They're definitely much further along in their career than I.
I liked the looks of their website as well.
I'd like to have something a bit more fancy for myself but as it is I'm attempting to wear too many hats as it is and have virtually no knowledge of web building which is pretty obvious at my modest site. |

Noe...
The thing that really burned me was it seems the same people owned the parking lot and the towing company |
