The first time i heard hide and seek was on the o.c, like alot of other people.
Im an avid o.c watcher, so in the last scene, i was a bit too shocket to listen to the music.
But i had it taped, so i went over and watched it again and thought, mm this is a good song for the scene. but sort of let it pass.
After watching the scene a few more times, a tiny bit of the song sort of stuck in my head.
Then i had to go back and watch that scene again jsut to hear the background music, and i realised i really liked it. It sort of reached out to me.
Thats when i found my way here.
So crazy, that in the begining i sort of dismissed the song altogether, until in the end it really reached out to me that i had to find the lyrics and artist. |

| I loved how the OC used both part of the song and in its perfect way. The voice is of an angel and grips you right by the heart. Even if you have never watched the oc it would bring emotions to you. I love the piece very much. Thanx for the beautiful music |

here's a different angle to liking this song and liking the oc... i've been a fan of imogen's since my friend introduced me to Frou Frou about 2 years ago, which was before i ever liked the oc. since then i constantly find myself in situations where i can totally relate to all of her lyrics on an intimate level.
anyway, i actually missed the oc's finale, but a friend of mine had put it on a cd for me a while before it aired... so i guess it was 'fate' or whatever that iheard it... cuz again i am in a relationship, or just getting out of one, where i can relate exactly to the words in this song.
one more thing... is the song a cappella or am i crazy? the song sounds like traditional pipe organ music, but i'm pretty sure that it's just her voice being layered into all of the moving chords and countermelodies. That's a freaking crazy accomplishment! i love this song and i love yoiur music. you're the best! |

I was watching the oc finale, and when the cars were going by on the way to caleb's funeral and i heard the song hide and seek, immediately tears
came to my eyes. what a perfect song for this episode. also in the end,
after the shot, the song played again, and i was just amazed. the music put so much emotion into that episode. i actually felt so touched. i love, love, love the song hide and seek. i need to check out more of imogen's stuff. |

I recognized the voice from Frou Frou, but had no idea until later that Imogen Heap was Frou Frou. The OC has a brilliant music coordinator and I have discovered many a band through them, but also have been listening to many of the artists that have subsequently been featured on the oc
I am totally hypnotized by Hide and Seek right now....

Im not really like my friends. Im 16, and my friends are into pop. Eminem, beyonce, usher etc. Ive been very into jack johnson, xavier rudd, the beautiful girls (and maybe donavon frankenreihter) etc. So when i found imogen, i was so happy. Im attracted to songs that reach out to you.
I feel sometimes as though i can meditate to certain songs, just close my eyes, listen and go into a trance. The world doesnt exist, no troubles, no noise, responsebilities...nothing. Just the music.
And imogens music is very much a perfect "trance" music.
And yes, if there ever was a show whos never gone wrong with muic, its the o.c. Many of the songs i listen to have come from their sad scenes |

hmm that's interesting, because I just found out that "Hide and Seek" was on the OC..I've never seen the show, so...
I only bought that song yesterday because I finally did a search on iTunes to find she only has 2 songs on there besides Details CD...oh my gosh, I LOVE Hide and Seek!
the line that made me want to buy the song is "spin me 'round again" which is what iTunes let me hear and I had no idea what the song was about at that time. I love the effect on Imogen's voice..I want one too  |

hey bc.... she actually used a harmonizer to get that sound. and I agree.... it's absolutely beautiful! |

I am too a big oc fan, which is where I heard this track. It's one of the most beautiful songs i've heard for a long time. I could listen to it over and over.

i must say i really enjoyed the search for hide and seek from the o.c.'s last episode of 2nd season.
awesome song...... heh. i play it now when i'm in that sort of mood and need the music...

I'm a HUGE fan of the O.C and its music, and I was surprised at the choice of music for the final scene, but its so amazing, and everytime I listen I remember it, and it makes me all emotional! ha sad I know |

| i am an avid fan of the o.c i was in awww when the final episode was aired when trey was shot by mirissa and when "OOOOwww what you said" was played i coudnt believe hoe good theis composition was a nd captured the seen greatly. i also love the song goodnight and go thank you so much imogen heap!!!!!!!! |
