| I was really hoping to be able to work on something for this project, but due to certain complications (recording equipment getting lost/broken etc), I don't think I can contribute after all. However, I look forward to hearing it, particularly The Moment I Said It. |

No time to lose steam folk! I've decided that i'll do Just For Now to make up the numbers, but dont give up, keep your ears on the prize |

| Mainly waiting for detailfreak's vocal track to get busy. I've decided to start from scratch. Anyone know the BPM for The Moment I Said It? I googled it and found that it might be 88.89, but that seems rather slow. |

Sorry for the double post, but got detail_freak's vocal tracks yesterday. It's really beautiful. Her accent adds a lot of uniqueness to the song and I think the cover may turn into more of a jazz-y type vibe but still have native american elements. We'll see how it works.
How's everyone else's coming along? |

Good to know that people are still working on this, I thought some may have given up
My Mixmeister BPM Analyzer says that TMSI is 88.91, so basically 89, seems reasonable (Y)
So yeah, hows everyone else doing? |

I can honestly say I've REALLY been neglecting this little side venture. I'm really sorry since I've been caught up in doing my own thing mostly, but I'd still like to submit something.
Are we just limited to S4Y, because I'm finding it very difficult to to Clear the Area to fit my own musical style and am thinking of changing to "The Walk" as my focus.
Or if at all possible, I'd love to do something from iMegaphone. The more kinda hardcore grungyness of it would be better fitting for me, but its kinda your call really ^^; |

i won´t sign up for it just yet, but i´d love to give one of these songs a shot and see what comes out of it some time. i´m such a perfectionist when it comes to things like this that i´m not sure i could be content with the result
i´ve thought about covering some of Imogen´s songs before, so maybe i´ll do it for real this time?
anyways, once i´ve gotten my 8 string guitar tuned up properly, i´ll give it a shot! |

Just go with whatever you think will turn out best, from the way its looking we're not going to come out the other end of this with what I was looking for, theres just not enough interest to cover all of the songs. So if you can give it your all on anything from S4Y and once I get some final versions from people I'l start to shape what the release will be. |

Oooh, BPM Analyzer? Are there any downloads for that?
Also, I've come to a sort of stand point with The Moment I Said It, the drums are conflicting with detail_freak's vocal quality so i've asked to rerecord them with some higher quality equipment she has.
Just waiting on those again. |

Ok I've finished my version of "Headlock". I've been trying and trying to get the vocals but I just couldn't get it right. Immi's voice puts mine to shame so I had to tweak it here and there. And I used Immi's voice as background vocals. I'm not completely satisfied with the final result. But I've been working my ass off for school etc, so I just couldn't find the time to work on it some more. Here it is, hope it quilifies:P

This version of Headlock is amazing! Really inspiring...
I kind of want to start over on my remix now. But I don't really want to do The Moment I Said It anymore...
Songs are basically open for anyone to take now right? It's been a long time.
Also (@FABLER) can you post your music myspace again? Or do you have one? I really like your music and remember some old songs from before. |

| Hey there, glad you liked it! I was beginning to think this topic had been completely forgotten. I haven't got a myspace yet, but I'm thinking about creating one just for the music. I do however have a souncloud account, where most of my tracks are available for listen. it's http://soundcloud.com/vannis_je |

Yes! Thanks.
I really like your song 'Leap of Faith'... I even have it on my Zune from when you first allowed it for download, lol.
And I hope this thread wasn't abandoned. It was such a cool idea. |

I'd love to try an instrumental version of "Have You Got It In You" if lachlanhiggs hasn't made any headway into their version (I don't want to be stealing someone else's song!)
This sounds like an amazing project though. Maybe deadlines could help get this done a little quicker? You could make it so a rough demo is due in a month or something. I know that I hardly get anything done without a deadline. |

Great idea Lachlanhiggs never got back in touch with me, so I think he can be considered out. I'm guessing by your namesake we could expect a little cello in there? And yes, a deadline is a good idea, so say the 6th of June for everybodys demos? I look forward to see what you come up with (Y) |

| I can try I have exams coming up though and I'm working on recording it at school on Wednesday afternoons so it's going slowly lol. I have written down everything that is in Glittering Clouds though and put it in order and we have the main tune just gotta figure out the rest and see if we can put all the little sounds in. |

Oh you can expect a lot of cello.
June 6th sounds great. It would be amazing if we really do this! |

Two years later and all the duchess could think was "What happened to this locus?"
It seems I'm perusing a thread much to tranquil for its own best, and it's hard to assume, since it was such a great idea. Why didn't you finish the project? Beneath all the layers of dust, not even the headlock cover is available. A shame, really. |
