I can't believe that it's been 10 years since "Details" was released. It's become a good friend, and a perennial favourite in my collection.
I can only hope that one day we'll get to hear the unreleased tracks - *crosses fingers*.
Does anyone else still listen to this record on a regular basis? |

Oh yes, absolutley, in fact, I'm starting to realise that my emotionally opposite summits, sort of my yin and yang of absolut feelings, are marked with two signs, the first one reading "The Moment I Said It" and the other one saying "The Dumbing Down Of Love". It's amazing how both these songs are so different, yet so alike. Both are closuring songs, and both are quite "set down" in terms of tempo for example and both are mystic, 'TMISI' being more eerie and cold, 'TDDOL' being foggy and warm. Whenever I'm a wreck, totally out of my mind and need something to just linger on to, I listen to 'TMISI', and whenever I'm out of my head but for quite the opposite feelings, like being in love and just feeling a strange, soft feeling inside me, I listen to 'TDDOL'. I know it might sound quite weird but I'm absolutley fixated on this discovery of mine.
Other than my nonsense ramblings, congratulations 'Details'. Ten magnificent years. |
