Going on right now:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/interactive/2012/feb/24/imogen-heap-reverb-watch-live
Ana Silvera was amazing. Kind of a cross between Joni Mitchell, and... hmm, can't quite place it. Enya? Imogen? Florence/Machine?
Imogen's music here is interesting. I like it. :D
On an unrelated note, was her Love The Earth music ever available to buy/listen beyond the live streaming? I'd love a DVD of that, or something. |

Is there a link to the I-didn't-mamage-to-watch-the-live-show video? I checked out The Guardian link being provided for the rest of the week, but as far as I can see, that's only taking the viewer to the live, finished and inactive video.
Help... anyone... please? A wee link, cup of tea and a bit of apple pie would do spiffingly. |

| On the Love The Earth video, Kelly Snook tweeted that she is working on the mix (right now!), so I think something is in the works. I'm sure I saw a claim somewhere that a DVD is due in April. |

This performance was stunning !
But its so sad they were almost not showing the movie ! we couldnt see how the music was fitting with it !
They should have put two videos online ... the movie and the venue ... |

Wow, it was very inspiring I think you can find the video on youtube easily (Not with Imogen's score though, does anyone know if there is somewhere else to get the video? The guardian will only hold this until the 7th...) |

Unless they've changed it, you can download the video from the Guardian site. If you hover your cursor over the video, you should see a link to 'download this video'. It's on the Guardian's own page, so it seems to be legit. I've already used it to save the video to RealPlayer (which appears to be the only option). I'm hoping it doesn't delete itself after 7 days!
Of course it would be nice to have a DVD of the film with Immi's score as the soundtrack. |

That would be really great !
As Germaine Dulac is dead in 1942, the movie can now be used freely ... |

I think that's your realplayer plug-in offering you a free download. haha
Does it look something like this?

Talking about that actually... does anyone have a link to THAT video? I never saw the performance live and I've really wanted to see it after the small taster I did see. |

Wildchild: yes, that's what I get. You mean it isn't authorized by the Guardian? I feel guilty now! Of course I'll buy it if it ever comes out on DVD.
Added: I just looked at YouTube and found a lot of videos there can also be downloaded with the same Realplayer tool. Presumably the posters could put some kind of block on downloading if they wanted to? Otherwise it seems a pretty massive aid to copyright infringement!
Added again: apparently there was some controversy about this when Realplayer introduced the tool:
http://www.reuters.com/article/2007/05/31/us-realnetworks-realplayer-idUSN3134630220070531
Of course, they say you shouldn't use it to download copyright material. And it shouldn't be possible to download material with DRM protection. |
