as i understand it, the s4y instrumentals were recorded as promotional material only; they were never intended for wide consumption (though personally i think immi would do well on sales if she ever decided to officially release them). you'll see a copy pop up every now and then on ebay, but the only time i'm aware of them being bought they sold for upwards of $400; the last time a copy appeared, immi's management got involved and had the listing removed.

@OP there are SOME available on the internet, specifically YT (2 versions of TMISI, Headlock, Goodnight and Go, The Walk, and I THIIIIIINK Clear the Area).

you could email info@imogenheap.com and ask for permission to use a particular piece, and see if they'd be willing to furnish it to you. it's a longshot, but might be worth a try; they may be more willing to let you use something if it's something they can regulate. i kind of think you may be out of luck, but you never know.

p.s. i'd strongly recommend against using something illegally downloaded for a performance, especially if it's going to be public.
