I think "Ladding" was a typo in an online setlist from a show at Woodstock in 1998. Other references to that show had "Kidding" listed in it's place.
It would be ok for me to be wrong about this... |

I have a question:
Somewhere on the first page, there mentions a live, iMegaphone-era performance of 'I Am In Love With You'...
I have a file (just found it about a few months ago, but, it's like a few years old), and it has an acoustic, piano-only rendition of 'I Am In Love With You'. A few lines are different (like, in the part where she goes "Come on into my bed with me", she also adds "I want to f*ck you"/or the line of "No one will know, did you forget yourself" is omitted).
Could this be it, or is it probably just another live performance recorded?
Stupid question, but I'm just curious. Has been bugging me for the longest f*cking time.

I think it really is. The file i have is named 'Live Louisville, KY'. But maybe the one who mentioned it, owns a (rare) soundboard version who was on the site funkyrebel.com. It was a short video, where she played candlelight, whatever, st.anthony and i'm in love with you, at a club in London. Unfortunately, when i visited the site, the link didn't work and recently the whole site has been erased!!!. |

Well, that sucks. I'd never even heard 'Whatever' live, let alone 'I Am In Love With You' in acoustic (and the fact that the song was older than I thought intrigues me so much!!). Oh well. Thank you for the info! |

| tbh i think most Speak For Yourself songs were actually made in the iMegaphone era. i read somewhere that just after iMegaphone and years before Frou Frou, she already had made songs for her second solo album and were ready to be published, but the record complany went bust before she could do it. so maybe it was talking about Speak For Yourself, but it hadnt been named. or she couldve used some of the songs for Frou Frou. its quite scary, but so intriguing! |

that cant be possible, Kidding was mentioned so there is no way Ladding is a typo. i love how Immi just has all these mysterious songs that we all just keep coming across! its brilliant! |

I just like wearing my kind of clothes, which attracts some strange looks. Today I’m wearing a bright pink petticoat with loads of layers, a black-and-white patterned skirt over that, my white boots and fluffy legwarmers. My hair is hugely backcombed. I look like a bush. Then I’ve got a Victorian jacket on. People have been looking at me like ‘what is that?'.

According to her ASCAP profile, she's got quite a few on here that haven't been added. All but "Concrete Fields" is written with Guy. I wonder what is up with these. They were obviously in their final stages considering they were registered with the company.
"All Out Of Love"
"Concrete Fields"
"Good Guy"
"Peeping Tom"
"Sublime" |

i found this a little while ago, but hesitated saying anything about it because i can't/won't share the music; since it contains material that was recorded, though, i thought i'd add it to the list. before finding the disc, i'd never heard of track one, three and five, and can't seem to find anything about any of them anywhere. note track two is called "i'm in love with you," not "i am in love with you," and "foolish" is a studio version, not the acoustic version most of us have probably heard.
*edit: energy did some research on it and found out it was recorded post-frou frou and pre-s4y, but that's it for what i know about it.* |

And a studio version of Foolish? /orgasm |

Yup old demos - before frou frou. We'll put more details up with the new version of CMII -lyrics and the like
rats! i thought it was post-frou frou, not pre-. sorry about the misinformation in my post about it. |

they're basically three songs that were recorded but never released, for whatever reason, and they don't much sound like anything on either s4y or imeg, though with a little more polish (evidenced by "i am in love with you"), they probably would have fit in better with s4y than imeg. simon calls it "imeg 1.5," and really, it's like a few stepping stones between the two that seem to point in a direction immi seemed interested in heading off into even then. |

this is precisely why i wasn't sure whether to bring it up in the first place; since nobody else can hear it, it didn't seem fair to mention it, but again, since it contains legitimately recorded music (not bootlegged) and the majority of the disc qualifies as "miscellaneous," it seemed worth it. i'm sorry reading about it upsets you.
as for letting people hear it, while the disc is mine, the music isn't. |
