Hello! I'm writing this, as I have just received a copy of iMegaphone that I purchased from Amazon UK and, unless I'm mistaken, I thought that the album was no longer available new and is an extremely sought after record.
The CD appears to be 'new' and was fully wrapped with security seal etc. Everything about it appears perfectly genuine, but I am worried that (as it was so easy to get hold of AND for a good price) it may not be entirely legitimate
Does anyone have any suggestions or knowledge on these iMegaphone CDs floating around and whether there's any way to tell if its genuine/fake? If it helps, I could take pictures of the cover/written info on the CD. There maybe no reason for me to be concerned but I just want to clear things up
This is where I got it - it was about £9.50 sold as new

I found one of mine (as i have every edition of this one) as a new one too ! Sealed and everything ...
Look under the CD ... if it's new it won't have any traces of use ... |

ah! Thanks! Just checked the CD and it looks fine could it just be an unused original CD, or are the CDs still being produced somewhere? It's a really great album, even if it took a little while to get used to it |

| I assume you bought it from a dealer on the Amazon 'Marketplace'. Dealers often have rare or 'out of print' items much cheaper than Amazon's own prices, so I don't see much reason to doubt that it is 'new'. |

@DavidB yep, I did. I guess that would explain it I was just kinda surprised to come across a dealer, selling new copies of the CD, having only come across pre-owned ones before.. |

@TriggeredMemory I'm not sure tbh, but that could make sense if if it was from a more recent release. I've only really been an Imogen Heap fan since last December, so I feel a bit behind on everything and have tried to catch up on all the stuff I've missed over the years!! |

Correct, and I know the re-release was available for purchase during the first leg of Immi's North American tour, as I purchased at the concert it back in November 2009. BTW the merchandise at the concert was very reasonably priced and the iMeg CD was only $10 Canadian. |

Don't fret, you can buy the CD at HMV now... oddly enough, it's one of Immi's old one's but since its american rerelease it's not quite so rare anymore in the UK, if in doubt, get the japanese one hehe |
