| OMG!! I would absolutely kill to have that disc. Not having the vocals breathes new life into those tracks because you can hear new things in them and reconnect with them all over again. It heightens the cinematic quality that alot of her music has. Sometimes, the melody is so critical - i.e. when she sings "Its a half-life .... with you as my quarterback" against those chords, it makes the hair on my arm stand up. Enough gushing - the possibility of an instrumental S4Y disc (not lossy online files) was tantalizing enough for me to de-lurk. |

There isn't a single second of audio on S4Y that isn't interesting for one reason or another. I cant say that about any other album I own. I hoping Ellipse becomes as timeless.
I dont have a clue about it really but you'd think releasing a S4Y "deluxe" on ITunes would be a simple thing but there's probably alot more to it than that. Here's to wishing.... |

A while back someone tried selling a copy of it on eBay and James/Immi had it taken down for whatever reason. I believe it was because they were trying to sell it for a shitload of money, but *shrugs*
Hopefully, one day Miss Heap decides to release it. But if not, *Heads to Teleheap and prays the rest go up soon* |

Actually the headlock and the walk instrumentals that appear on Teleheap are not the album mixes or the ones off that promo. The headlock instrumental is of the Immi radio mix taken from the u-myx app, and 'The Walk' is the version that leaked off the 'Pool no water' e card, while this is close to the album version it is low quality (due to being from an ecard) and has a longer bridge than the album version. We mention it here.
The instrumentals are wonderful and I hope more fans get to hear them soon. Ellipse instrumentals have made this more of a possiblity. There are even a couple of Frou Frou instrumentals about...
What's wonderful about that promo is that immi mastered the track specially so it brings out a different mix from the album. A few copies have appeared on ebay but when they do they go for big bucks  |

I have this disc! It's a publishing promo, so that people like her pluggers at Zync Music can send the tracks out to TV shows for consideration, hoping that they'll decide to use them as background music, etc.
The version of The Walk on the disc is quite different! |

We can't release as Immi originally showed signs that she did not want these made public. However on twitter it has been mentioned that she may release these in the future. Hopefully that will be the case.
Then she can get some money towards these wonderful tracks and fans can hear them legitimately |

The biggest suprise for me was 'Just For Now'. It gave a brand new perspective on that song. You jsut don't realise what's underneath the lyrics.
My one doesn't have Just For Now - it has two versions of Have You Got It In You, one of which has the 'synth melody' (you can tell I'm no musician) removed! |

I did not know such a CD exists !
I'm such a huge fan of the Ellipse "instrumentals", and if she decides to release the "Speak for yourself" instrumentals, I'm sure there will be other true fans buying it too !

same here
as a pretty much brand new immi fan, i'd love to hear these instrumental
i love her 3 albums already, and frou frou's even more
i loved the Ellipse instrumentals, but SFY is my first love, it's how i got to know her, i fell in love with all the songs on the album, so to get to listen to them in their base form, without the voice, would be the BEST |
