I'm thinking it's only because everyone has already this and listened to it 100+ times It would have probably been my favorite if I hadn't already heard... in fact I still think its one of my faves... it's so much different than I expected it to be!
Yep, I think it's just familiarity with First Train Home and the fact that The Fire, while gorgeous, does sort of feel like Canvas... but that might just be me. |

| Bad Body Double definitely stood out to me first listen through. It's my favorite, at least for a while...The other 12 are all tied at 2nd. I'm horrible at picking favorites! |

what's pretty interesting are the numbers of plays @ the soundcloud music player , where the full album is streamed : "wait it out" still tops the list , followed closely by "1st train home" & "earth" comes 3rd - which are the 1st 3 songs on the album too !
after that the number of plays steadily decreases , which results in "the fire" having even more plays than "canvas" or "half life" !
how weird is that , eh |

| I'm sure I'm one of the very few who isn't a major "1-2" fan:$, I find myself skipping the song everytime it comes on in the stream-player. It's not that I find it a bad song, I just can't seem to find it's 'hook' or whatever you call it (bad english). After a thousend times of listening to Ellipse so far "A-ha" is still my ultimate favorite. I love the brilliance of "Little Bird" as well. Mostly because the sounds and melody remind me of a piece of music from the Zelda Twilight Princess game. There's a certain level you play in (Twilight Palace I believe) where they play music in the background which is kind of similar. For some reason, I'm really into "Canvas" as well. I know we've heard it awhile back already, but I still love it! |

| First Train Home, Wait it Out, 2-1, Between Sheets and Canvas are, in my opinion, the best produced tracks. Tidal was initially my favorite based on previews alone, but after listening to the song in full, it fell flat. I do love the shoegazing bit at the end, though. |

My favourite one for the moment is Little Bird I think...

I caved and listened to the stream.
I'm in love with Wait It Out at the moment - I want to scream out 'aaaaaahaaaaaa' with her.
Can't wait to get the hard copy and have the real quality, even though the stream is pretty damn good quality in itself! |

I refuse to click one! The other songs might get mad at me! I just pleased them with sexy dance moves. Upsetting them might reverse what I've gotten accomplished today.
But between all of you and me...I've listened to "Swoon" so many times that it talks to me in my sleep now.
"Wait It Out" is epic, though. |

| honestly, there isnt a single track on the album I dont like, but as I listen more and more, 2-1 and Wait it Out are emerging as my favourites, with Wait it Out, just edging, just because they're more my type of tracks, rather than being better than the other ones. |

Really. Well it's like to others may be one of those growing songs.
I did not think I would love swoon from the clips but when I heard it on the stream I was like AHHH! I love this haha! |

oh. my. god.
i just heard Ellipse... i'm speechless. completely blown away.
that album is INCREDIBLE!
this 2.5-3 year wait was worth it.
sad the journey just ended... but it was such an amazing trip she took us on. and now the trip is done. and a new one begins. let the Ellipse Era live on for years to come! |

| My favourite has to be Tidal. It's just so awesome and catchy. It's just like The Walk for me. And I love the 8-bit sounds Immi added in. |

Tidal
"Wait it out" was right with in though and I have a soft spot for "half Life".
At first I was unsure about a few of the songs such as aha! and bad body double but now I really like them as well. This whole album is awesome! |

Wait it Out was the track that stood out for me first.
Like Daylight Robbery from SFY, Earth makes me want to drive my car really, really fast. Totally paradoxical given the lyrics...
I've been trying to anticipate whether it will be Canvas or 2-1 that will spark the strongest reaction for me when I hear immi perform it live. Can't tell just yet. |

My problem with BBD is that sort of weird synth with the big delay ...
It's not pleasant at all for my ears ...
Plus, i was expecting lots of "body sounds" as she said ... And there are no many body sounds in the song finally ...
She just kept two bars of her friends clapping and jumping ... and i loved this sound ...
And she removed the funny sound she made with the sort of "clown whistle" ...
Finally, i probably do like the song, it is pretty funny ... But for me, all the other songs are .... AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL ... but not this one ... |

| I really don't want to pick a definitive fav, but Wait it Out is effecting me the most as of late. It's a perfect testament to the fact that Immi's music really brings me up in hard times. |

Aha! was my pre-release favorite, and still is. But The Fire is a close second, because I love it when Immi does a track that is nothing but piano and background (i.e., Cumulus and Miel). |

I really enjoy the music and lyrics in Bad Body Double. I listen to the normal one in my headphones and love the instrumental one in the car. |

Upon hearing only the little sampler bits from the 7digital site, Earth immediately became the one to beat in my mind. It has so much ENERGY and of course I'm a sucker for acapella harmonies and intertwining rhythms...
(and yet...)
I must admit, Swoon came in at a very close second. The interplay of those first lyrics with the musical intro and those little "digital"-sounding flourishes instantly evoked for me the feeling of getting that cell phone call from that certain someone.
But yeah, definitely got to give a shout out for Earth; there's a lot to be said for the deeper, more artistic songs on the album, but when a song makes me feel an instant rush of tingly energy just from listening to the first few seconds, that's something special.
----------------
That being said, after several more listens and a chance to look at the lyrics, I have become a big fan of 2-1, and it alternates with Earth as my favorite, depending on my mood. |
