James- are we going to have a separate "Ellipse" discussion up soon? Or not until the album is out?

And do you have any idea when the artwork contest winner will be announced?

I would assume when it's released? Was this forum formed before, during or after the SFY release? I wasn't here in the early days. I fell from the Moon!

As much as I'm dying to hear 'First Train Home', I would much rather wait for the record's release to hear it. I'm sure it would be a great single, but since it's the first song on the album it feels more like a "hello, welcome to Ellipse, we are about to take you on a journey..." kind of track.

I think 'Swoon' is a better candidate, personally.

yeah i know EXACTLY what you're saying. couldn't agree more.
i think i'm going to wait to hear the songs when i get the album in my hands. even if a single is released before that, i want to hold off to be amazed in Ellipse's entirety.
First Train Home will arrive and take me on the journey... and i can't wait.

By the way, Immi's new deadline is May 25th, and something tells me we might possibly get to hear a full song not too long after.

mine's november 19 XD

anyway. she did tweet she was hoping to go on a holiday in july, when all the art and single work is done. i assume that means the single is going to be out around that time, too.

ga, it's been such an amazing journey the past 2 years.
being there when the birth of these songs happened.
listening to the growth of them.
getting to know them so well.
living with them too. haha
then being there from the very beginning of the Immi invasion of her home.
that was a ton of fun getting to watch and see the progress and change. Very Happy
it's becoming pretty bittersweet now, knowing that the album is in its last 2 weeks.
then, we can lavish in its beauty when it's released in August.

Immi, thanks again for letting us jump on this adventure with you. it has been an incredible ride Very Happy

It's like all the songs are little babies and we've watched them grow and learn!

I can't wait until their graduation (aka the cd release) and tell them all how proud I am of them!
