anyway ... iirc , it was immi herself , who mentioned in one of her vblogs that "canvas" is going to be the 1st single !?
i suppose she has jus' changed her mind about it ... or was convinced by somebody close to her , who has already heard the new album that another song would be a better choice as a single - especially as the 1st single then !
so if "canvas" will NOT be a single or @ least not the 1st one , then my best bet is on "1st train home" now !  |

I don't know if I can see "Canvas" as a single, just from what we've heard it sounds too abstract to be appreciated by the general public...then again, the same perhaps could be said about "Hide and Seek."
I think it's more likely for "First Train Home" to be the single, it's more upbeat and jaunty (jaunty is my favorite word of the moment, EVERYTHING is jaunty, even if it really isn't...I'll make it jaunty). |

| I think it may be wait it out due to the fact that it was for the open hearts film and it was the first one she made on her writing trip. Who knows anymore lol. Could be first train home or something else haha. |

what i'm also looking forward to hear is the b-side or bonus / extra track of the 1st single ( & of all the following singles too , of course ) ! 
immi is known to put something rather special in that place & i bet it won't be jus' another song from the album ( but maybe a remix of the a-side / original song ? ) !
however ... let's wait & see ...  |

| First Train Home if a great first single as well...when I first heard the album that was the one that conjured up feelings of seeing an old friend....a feeling a familiarity, but with lots of new and exciting stuff to tell you - it's great! |

"1st train home" is indeed a really good choice imho too !

... & i can only second the question about the "canvas" video , which was supposed to be out before all other new releases ( except the album promo ep ) , iirc !?

The way I understood it, the Canvas video is already filmed and will be up somewhere (probably on Immi's website) for us fans to watch/listen before the album comes out... so my take on it is that it will be up sometime between now and august (probably closer to now than august, though)
I suppose she'll announce it in the next vblog, which may be up next week, from what's been discussed |
