back way back in 2007, when it seems close to a century ago, i was a lucky lucky lady that got to see the rather fabulous miss heap in london perform all of the iMegaphone album (acoustic, omg, it was excellent) as part of the iTunes festival.
i was just wondering if any of you beautiful people out there in this huge virtual world knew when the songs were going to be available on iTunes.......i check it every week, but as of yet i have been disappointed :'(
everyone should be blessed with her music.

It's available on UK iTunes too!
(And don't forget it includes the only 'official' release of 'Kidding'.) |

In France too !
I'm listening !
Sooooo great !
I'm just a bit disappointed with the way the tracks are cut !
There's a chat i don't care at all about at the beginning of each song !
They should have put it at the end of the previous song ... or even better cut it totally !
Now i'll have to edit the tracks and take off these ...
BUT ... the singing is SOOOOOOO good ! I've never heard such a good performance from her ! Perfect voice, great piano playing !
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah ! i'm dying ! Finally i looooove her live ! She should try to do Ellipse live ! We already know how Wait it out, First Train Home and Half Life can be great acoustic ...
She seems to be way better with acoustic perf !
I'm so glad this live is finally released ! It's the best i've heard from her ... |

Links, plz? Sorry, I don't know how to access iTues myself. Kinda dumb.
Also, 'nother stupid question, but is it free? Because I downloaded the Pop!Tech performance Podcast for free, and was just wondering if this was free, too. Thanks.
Also' HOLY CRAP iMEGAPHONE SONGS LIVE!!!!!

In love with it in Canada.
The q&a's are priceless.
How lucky are those of you who had the opportunity to be there live?
*sigh* |

Can the songs be played on a non-apple device? Say a Nokia phone or something?
I am Ipod-less...
Or will there be another download platform available? |

| I play them on my (PC) laptop. According to my computer the tracks are MPEG-4 audio files. I don't know if there is any choice of file format (I just use whatever is my default setting for iTunes downloads) but I'm sure you don't need an iPod. |

As it was for the itunes festival i guess it's gonna be the only platform ...
But you are in europe ... itunes audio files don't have any kind of protection !
You can buy them with itunes and convert them to any other format with itunes ... and use them in any device ! |

Senescence is right, Pegasus.
I think steps are fun so here we go!
1) In iTunes, go to "Edit, then "Preferences".
2) In the General tab there is an "Import Settings" button; press that.
3) Cange the settings to:
-Import Using: MP3
-Settings: Custon
4) Another window will pop up:
-Stereo Bit Rate: 256 kpbs
If "Use Variable Bit Rate" is checked, uncheck it.
Leave everything else the way it is.
5) Click ok on the three menus to get out.
6) Highlight the songs you purchased.
7) Right click on them and choose "Create MP3 version"
And there you go! |

At least now iTunes is DRM (Digital Rights Management) free so you back up and move your purchased files as you see fit. However the audio files are labelled with meta-tag information which indicates the name of who purchased the iTunes tracks and the date purchased etc. Therefore if you were to "share" the files, it would be possible to determine where those files came from - not that anyone here would do that...
One thing that does bother me about iTunes is that they only offer audio files in lossy formats. WHY???!!! They did improve the quality of their audio files somewhat by going to 256 aac wp4. But that is still a lossy format which simply does not sound as good as wave files nor encoding in a lossless format. Apple themselves have their own lossless format (ALAC) which they could (no SHOULD) use instead.
Arrrggghhh! |

I bought the songs from iTunes, converted them to mp3 and edited the intro and the clapping out. Ready to go on repeat for the next decade!
I absolutely love these acoustic versions of the songs. I already liked the originals, but it's great to hear them in 2007 Immi-style (the pure brilliantness of it). Perhaps more artists should bring out new live performances of their 'classic' CDs.
Makes me look forward even more to the upcoming tour |

I absolutely love the concert. I LOVE the intros and talk. I'm always annoyed when artists clip those out. Maybe a "two disc" version might have been nice - one with intros and one without....
But in any case I thought it was perfect as is. What a great concert. |

| I love how even though her singing style has changed a lot since her teenage days, she still brings back all of the energy and intensity when she performs these songs 10 years later. This is definitely my favourite live performance of hers. |

| Yeah - the screaming in Rake it in is pretty awesome. Hehe - she recovers her voice well. And I like the song intros, the more Immi the better! |

I just like wearing my kind of clothes, which attracts some strange looks. Today I’m wearing a bright pink petticoat with loads of layers, a black-and-white patterned skirt over that, my white boots and fluffy legwarmers. My hair is hugely backcombed. I look like a bush. Then I’ve got a Victorian jacket on. People have been looking at me like ‘what is that?'.

I love the intro to "Come Here Boy". You know, when she's talking.
She explains she see's the white spots, going "stop, and take a breath".
lol it made me laugh XD |
