even if i have a mp3 player i still love to listen to music from the original cd, no doubt the quality is the best u can have also 'cause i have an hi-fi with 2 100W speakers Twisted Evil

if u have good headphones u can get a great sound too but u know.... it's not the same Wink

I do the same thing when I'm alone in my home I like to put the radio really loud and I play frou frou music or Immi music Cool

to answer shh's Q, i've bought 11 copies of iMEG all up, i have 6 left - 1 is promised, so i really have 5 right now. some ppl are just transfixed by this album - you can see it in their faces. Smile

yay - a re-release. let's lobby the record company - to show its in their interest (plus let's have the b-sides and a few remixes on the re-release).

perhaps they could check out the dream remixer forum to get a few ideas (some up to date remixes would be such an incentive to buy it - particularly for me!)

i'll keep on the lookout for the special version of the album - ie. the old one with the bonus disc as well.

I always use good (ie. expensive, not cheap crappy ones) headphones, like to be immersed in the sound, plus even after all the hundreds (probably thousands) of times i listen to immi, frou frou & most of the cd's i have you just end up hearing new sounds - i think that's why ff album was called "details", guy paid so much attention to those little sounds (he always does).

Come Here Boy is the best song on the album, I hope her new album has a pretty ballad like that one with piano.

i had actually listened to imegaphone, and not thought much of it (sacrilege). then i got hold of frou frou and gave imegaphone a 2nd chance (ie. i just bought it on the strength of frou frou) and of course was kicking myself for being so blind.

I had "Details" in my hands for about a month before I even gave it a listen, and once I did, I was seriously hooked... hence my appearances here. iMegaphone soon followed and I simply fell in love with three of the tracks as well as the rest of the CD.

I anxiously await more.... did I mention anxiously?

so ska, hows about rumaging around nz and finding a copy of imeg for me, i'll reimburst you love.

i actually DID find a reasonably priced imeg, sadly i paid for it and they didn't send it to me so here i am, imegless and $10 in the hole.

Indeed.

It is kind of ridiculous what Amazon is charging for it, but then, when you think about it, Puff Daddy's albums are probably around $18 or so, which means, that on a musical-talent-per-dollar basis I, Megaphone is a better deal by about 6000%.

PS I'm sure you all know this but "I, Megaphone" is an anagram of "Imogen Heap"
