Voice Now / City Songs at London’s Roundhouse

I’m part of a production called City Songs that involves 6 choirs! I’m the singing narrator! I’ll be singing Emma Jones’ words and improvising melodies between Eriks Esenvalds and Emma’s songs they’ve written specifically for these 6 choirs.

I’ve never done anything like this before and can’t wait! I also get to be part moon which is quite exciting as I’ve never been the moon before either.

Imogen to perform new song with Eric Whitacre at The Proms

Imogen is set to unveil her latest song ‘The Listening Chair’ at the Proms August 29th.
The A Cappella song will be premiered as part of renowned composer, Eric Whitacre’s Prom, who’s arranging and conducting the ‘The Listening Chair’ piece for Imogen and the choir.

Last Friday Imogen took ‘The Gloves’ to TEDGlobal 2012 in Edinburgh, Scotland and wowed the audience with a performance of ‘Me, The Machine’.

A Room For London – Live webcast, 22nd June

On Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June Imogen will take part in ‘A Room for London’ – spending time in a Boat perched on top of Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall on the River Thames in London.

Whilst in residence she will compose a new Heapsong entitled ‘You Know Where To Find Me’ about the River Thames and will perform live on a big screen nearby as well as online.

Imogen’s live performance takes place from 7pm BST on 22nd June and can be watched live at www.aroomforlondon.co.uk and on screens in the Clore Ballroom at the Southbank Centre.
