Imogen shoots ‘You Know Where To Find Me’ video

After her Gloves performance at TEDGlobal, Imogen spent the weekend shooting the video to ‘You Know Where To Find Me’ (Heapsong7) in fans houses in/around Edinburgh.

She even wore the clothes of the people who’s houses she visited, in this case a chap called Archie’s tweet jacket and flat cap!

The Scotsman was on hand to find out what happened, check out their article here.

really flipped when i missed the live broadcast, so cant wait untill ya bring the clip out. Quality of tuub is so bad that you can bearely hear the words and a song is nth without the words.

The music to a song is just as, if not, more important than the words.

I can’t wait to hear this song! Why don’t I live in Scotland?? Your music reaches your listeners all over the globe, like Maisy and Lennon – two little girls doing an amazing cover of Headlock. As long as you keep making music, I’ll keep listening! Come back to Chicago some day (soon!).

It’s a pity Imogen didn’t get to see the Knight piano at the Henderson’s West End establishment, for that was the piano which sat in the Restaurant from 1988 after being replaced. The Previous piano, a Monington Weston travelled West to the West End of Edinburgh and entertained in the Basement bar of the Rutland Hotel for a number of years. Gary Burt was the resident piano man at Henderson’s Hanover St for almost seven years before his sudden and untimely death in his early thirties. Some of the Captain’s crew of the Henderson’s Restaurant were present at his funeral, including the Captain. But I truly believe that if ‘belonging’ comes into any of this, there is no other person who would better fit the bill in relation to the Henderson’s musical and piano legacy than Gary. The piano now in Hanover St is a Yamaha and has only been there in the scheme of things, for a very short time. This information is contained in a booklet (‘A Brief Musical History’) I prepared for the Restaurant, and as a tribute in memory of my old friend Gary. I was very happy to play the Hanover St Henderson’s piano for Imogen’s film crew on Thursday 6th of September 2012, and I think my mate Barrie Henderson did a good job too.
