A Room For London – Live webcast, 22nd June

On Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June Imogen will take part in ‘A Room for London’ – spending time in a Boat perched on top of Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall on the River Thames in London.

Whilst in residence she will compose a new Heapsong entitled ‘You Know Where To Find Me’ about the River Thames and will perform live on a big screen nearby as well as online.

Imogen’s live performance takes place from 7pm BST on 22nd June and can be watched live at www.aroomforlondon.co.uk and on screens in the Clore Ballroom at the Southbank Centre.

Find out more about A Room For London and Imogen’s involvement here.

Imogen spent last weekend at the Royal Festival Hall, talking to people, discussing the Thames and what it meant to them – some of those people recorded their thoughts in The Listening Chair. Watch the responses here.

James Bridle’s part of A Room For London sees him taking the weather conditions at the QEH and mapping the boat’s location in the world as if it were just adrift.. See where the boat is here.

My brother and I are your two biggest fans in the world, Immi! We adore you and your music. You were actually our biggest inspiration when we were working on my latest album, “Wired.” My brother did all the remixing and mastering, using your music as a standard to aspire to. It would mean the world to me if you would check it out, it would just make our lives to hear feedback from our favorite artist!

It’s on iTunes here at http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/wired-lp-ep/id498522364 Or just search “Jonathen West” on iTunes.

Keep up the good work, Immi, we just admire you so very much!

    Much love,

    -Jonathen West
